Bruce Boudousquie

Bruce Boudousquie earned an Associate's degree in Outdoor Recreation Education in 1990 and a Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management with a minor in Therapeutic Recreation in 1993. He worked with adolescents in therapeutic boarding schools for four years.

He then moved into working with emotionally disturbed children, adolescents and their families doing psycho-social rehabilitation. This continued five years before his wife, Sherrie, came to him with an application for grad school and stated, "sign here and write an essay; you're going back to school." He completed his Master's degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling. He continued to work doing PSR and added outpatient therapy work, then moved back into the field of therapeutic boarding schools in 2006 and has loved this work.

Bruce has been married to Sherrie since 1988 and they couple have five children ranging from a daughter born in 1990 to their second daughter who was born in 2004. His three sons are each three years apart in age. Bruce's family enjoys doing things in the outdoors including fishing, hunting, camping, picking huckleberries and hiking. He also enjoys building log furniture and cooking some of the foods from his native state of Louisiana.
